Stories as countless as the stars
Hossy.org, named after the nickname “Hossy” (ほっしぃ) of site operator Tetsushi Hoshikawa, will spin a wealth of stories—covering business, current events, hobbies and more—drawn from the 50 years of experience he will have reached in 2025. The Hossy.org logo features a star at its core with additional stars radiating outward, symbolizing ever-expanding horizons.
I, Tetsushi Hoshikawa, originally aspired to a career in music, which led me to join an importer and distributor of professional and consumer audio equipment. After going independent, I founded Trinity Inc. and built it into the market leader in smartphone accessories.
On May 1, 2025, after nearly 20 years at the helm, I “graduated” from Trinity Inc. and also turned 50. The journey was full of twists and turns, hardships and joys, yet I was able to step away with complete satisfaction.
Having brought both my public and private roles to a close and set my sights on a new chapter, I decided I needed a place for my own output.
My past experiences might be of use to someone. Because I enjoy writing and speaking, I launched Hossy.org, hoping to make the sharing of my unfiltered experiences and perspectives through blog posts and podcasts my new life’s work.
The very first blog post at Trinity Inc., which I started 20 years ago, was titled “The First Step,” and the post on the day I stepped down was called “The Final Step.”
And the first blog post on the new Hossy.org is titled “The First Step, Once Again.” From here on, I intend to use Hossy.org as a place to share both the culmination of my past journey and the footprints of my new one, so please stay tuned.
